Product link: https://www.newxshop.com/edible-butterflies-large-rainbow-variety-set-of-20-butterfly-cake-decoration-butterfly-decoration-jams.html

List Price: $9.99

Well, I have a few issues with the product listing.

Firstly, it shows them being used on a 3-tier cake and appearing quite large. Nowhere does it state that they’re actually only 2.5″ each. So, not nearly as big as they’ve been photo-shopped to appear.

Secondly, it does not tell you what they’re made out of. I had assumed they’d be sugar, but they actually turned out to be printed on what I assume is a thicker rice paper.

Beyond those two things, they’re not bad for their price. They arrived in a small plastic box, sealed with a sticker. Nothing fancy, but it’s sufficient.

I found that in the 20 butterflies, I received 15 different prints, so a nice variety. I did receive only 1 of most, obviously. Most of my duplicates were in the pale pink prints. I will state that the prints are not perfectly aligned/cut. Each is perfectly SHAPED like a butterfly, but the actual image seems to be askew on about half. Not enough to ruin them, but enough to point out.

Being that they’re are printed on a paper, you’re actually able to fold them up for a more 3D effect, so that’s nice feature of them. I haven’t shown them in use because I’m saving them for a specific person’s birthday. I know that she will particularly enjoy them and am glad to have them on hand.

I would probably give them a 3/5 rating due to misalignment and lack of details in the listing.

This is a nice gift to a new mother, or an investment on her own part. I find that reusable nursing pads are infinitely more comfortable than disposables, as well as being more cost effective and eco-conscious. This set is no exception.

The breast pads come in a small, cushioned, drawstring bag with a drool bib folded up in it’s own little package, as well as a thank you card with a discount code for future purchases. The bag is meant for laundering, but I’m really not sure of how effective this would be unless you were only washing one or two sets at a time. So for heavy leakers, you’ll need a bigger bag to wash your full load, because I really feel like the pads would just be compressed together and not get well cleaned at all in this. Again, UNLESS it were one or two sets.

The drool bib is cute and simple. It’s not very thick, it’s a thin, t-shirt like material. So, good if you have a little one that overheats and needs lighter weight items, bad if you have a seriously drooly baby. It has two size settings set by plastic snaps on the back. It’s a nice little bonus for them to throw in, but it’s not of a quality that should be swaying decisions, in my opinion.

The pads themselves are nicely sized at 4” across. The bamboo side is of course delightfully soft and appears to be well woven.  The colored backsides are also well woven and solid. It’s inner linings don’t feel very thick, I don’t know how LONG these would stay comfortable on days where I’m leaking a lot or regularly. I feel like they may need swapped out pretty regularly. The edges are closed with a basic whipstitch. It seems mostly effective, but some spots are roughly done/done  over. I don’t see this as a huge issue, as I’d rather it be doubled up than have a dropped seam.

Overall, this set of reusable breastfeeding set is nice, it’s soft and I will be using it.

List Price atm: $19.95

This ravioli set comes in a well designed, classic looking box and each piece is bagged separately, protecting them from damaging each other.

The pieces LOOK nice and shiny and well colored. The handles were a little loose and needed tightened. The metal looks like it’s a chrome plated cheaper metal. So I’m afraid of it breaking down. Especially if I let my son help me, as the listing repeatedly encourages. I feel that if unbalanced or excess pressure is used, it will warp and break. It does not feel brittle to the touch, it’s just a suspicion of what metal they used.

The roller is cute and nice. I liked it. I HAD pulled out my pasta machine, but for some reason it was not working, so instead of fighting with it I just pulled out a rolling pin. After getting it pretty well rolled out I finished it off with this small roller. I found that it helped me get a very even sheet of pasta. I was using a cutting board with visible grain as my work area, so when I was able to clearly see it’s pattern, I knew my pasta was thin enough. I found the pasta presses to work well enough. You have to wiggle them a little to make sure you get a clean cut. I like that they offer the two shapes and the wheel. I will use all three.

I did NOT use their e-book. I found it to be daunting, poorly worded and over ambitious for a $20 set. Especially when, again, they advertise this as a FAMILY activity. I think they should adjust it to a FAMILY chef instead of what they say is a gourmet chef. It doesn’t match up in my mind. I found a simple recipe that allowed All-purpose flour and went from there.

All in all, I think this is a nice set for $20, if it cost any more than that, I’d question it. It would make a nice gift to someone interested in getting into cooking, or a child who’s moving out who needs their own tools.

Brand Name: SwissVita Laboratories
Product Page: https://amzn.com/B01CN98E8U
List Price atm: $23.99

This is my second product from SwissVita and I am even more pleased with this one. It’s somewhat more relevant to my lifestyle and needs. (Don’t get me wrong, their eye gel is great, I’m just more likely to remember to wash my face than I am to put on an extra skin treatment.)

I think the picture pretty much speaks for itself but I’ll do a full review anyway.

It comes in a simply designed box which gives you the name and contact info of the company, it gives you ingredients and direct instructions.

Inside you find your tube of face cream wash. Again, the directions are printed on the back. It’s sealed with a foil that has no pull tab, it took me a second to notice they had designed the cap with a small, pointed pyramid the indent on it’s top. So, another smartly designed packaging.

Once you open it, don’t put too much pressure on the tube. The product is very eager to come out. Place just a small bit in your palm and quickly put the cap back on, so that you don’t lose product. When I say a small bit, I mean a SMALL bit. The first time, I used a dime size and it was way too much. It washed down past my shoulders, thoroughly. So, I use about half a dime sized dot and lather it between my palms before applying it to a wet face. I say lather, but it’s not your traditional, foamy, bubbly lather. It’s more of a smooth buttery consistency. I typically do not like products that have such smooth consistencies, they’ve never worked well for my skin, I find they leave it feeling grimy and greasy. So, I was exceptionally surprised to discover that this wash actually made my skin feel phenomenal. It made me feel clean, and refreshed. It left my skin feeling a little more tight and with the texture of soft velvet.

The scent of the product is very subtle, in my opinion and does not have any remarkable notes. It’s white in color and the tube is solidly made. It will need rolled as you use it. I did not feel any adverse reaction on my skin and it did not bother my eyes to wash near them with it.

All around, I really like this face wash and found it to be very effective in only a few days.

Brand Name: Bella Poque Fashion

Product Page: https://amzn.com/B01G5BXEPK
List Price atm: $7.99

This belt appears as it does online and seems solidly made.

I ordered a size Large in their grape option. My instinct is usually to order EVERYTHING in black, but considering how many black tunic tops, dresses, jackets and what have you that reside in my closet, I figured a little contrast would be a good idea. I’m glad I did. This is a very pretty tone of purple. It’s not overly bright, but it still has spirit.

The elastic of the band isn’t too fancy. It has a woven style appearance on the outside and your standard elastic look on the inside. It has a LOT of stretch to it, so much so that if I WANTED to, for some reason, I could wear it around my 32 week pregnant belly. I’ll wait. I am worried that it might not stay at my natural waist and be more of a hip rise detail. But it’s not the company’s fault that my body is oddly proportioned.

It’s suitably wide enough to work as a little bit of a sneaky tummy tucker. And you don’t have to worry about it pulling in too narrowly along any squish you may have. The clasp is simple yet classy. It’s very easy to open and close, is well attached and it STAYS closed. I hate when these easy clasp belts just randomly open, so I’m glad to see this one deals with various ranges of motion.

Overall, very nice belt with a wide variety of styling options. Well made and nicely colored. Well worth the reasonable price.

I’m the crazy owner of FOUR dogs. The matriarch of my brood is a pug and has little nubby teeth and a super smelly mouth. Her one daughter occasionally gets called “garbage can mouth” because it literally smells like a can that’s been left out in the sun. It’s awful. The other two have standard dog breath that only varies depending on what they’ve gotten into at any given time.

Needless to say, this product is highly relevant to my needs.

The pump bottle design was a good idea. It’s easy to use and you don’t have to worry about accidentally squirting a tube everywhere, or a whiley dog getting a hold of a tube and chewing it to bits. (This may have happened once or twice in our home.) The inclusion of a finger brush was a good idea too. I found it much easier to brush my dog’s teeth with this infant style toothbrush as opposed to the more standard brush design. I didn’t have to worry about them jerking around and accidentally getting jabbed by the solidness of the brush, making them infinitely more difficult to deal with. I was able to just slip it on my finger, pump out an appropriate amount of product and scrub their mouths. No issues.

The smell is subtle, but distinctly mint and meat. Kind of like a dental chew. My dogs did not seem to mind it. They would much prefer to just be permitted to eat it and skip the brushing, but they handled it well and didn’t seem too offended. This is the best they’ve ever behaved towards having their mouths brushed. I would purchase this again when I run out, even with the steep price.

Firstly, I’m TERRIBLE at beauty regimes. I constantly forget to apply them the recommended twice a day. So this is a review from a stressed, exhausted full time Mommy. I hope that makes it realistic and relevant to some of the other shoppers. Lol.

I thought the tube was incredibly well designed for shipping and shelf life. They included a small red ring between the nozzle and the neck, so that the foil seal did not accidentally become punctured by the easy open cap. I’ve included pictures of this. To open, you just unscrew the regular nozzle/cap, remove the red ring and screw the nozzle back onto the tube, firmly. This will cleanly puncture the foil without you having to try to peel it or puncture it without accidentally squeezing your product all over the place. I also like that the cap screws onto the nozzle instead of snapping. So I don’t have to worry about it coming off unexpectedly and would be able to travel confidently with it.

The product itself is clear and pretty scentless. I did not find it to irritate my skin or eyes. It also has a nice, smooth aloe like texture. It only take a tiny dot to do an eye and it spreads easily. I found that it absorbed and dried quickly. It did leave a small shine on my skin, but that dissipated quickly.

After the first use I felt that my skin had been well moisturized and it felt a little taught.

After three days I did not notice much visibly change, but again my skin felt a little more taught. (Keep in mind my opening, I miss applications, I’m sorry.)

After nine days I do feel that my under eye lines have dissipated ever so slightly. I have noticed some lightening in the coloring and again my under eye skin feels less puffy.

I’ll continue using this as it’s an easy product to use and is so comfortable.

Use the code  LT2MYYN2 for an additional 40% off, making this hammock only $17.99 until 9/30/2016.

Comes in a ziplock rubber bag. I will not be putting it back into this bag, as it’s very snug and I have no need to. Inside that, it’s folded up into a nylon, draw-string pouch that is sewn to the hammock, so it would be good for travel, in my opinion.

This is a large hammock, and I could see it being a double IF it were on bar style hangers.
As it is, it curls up around you while you’re in it, creating a tube like effect. This doesn’t make me very eager to get in it with another person, side by side.  I don’t think it’s a problem, I like that the extra material keeps the sun off of me and would be nice while camping because it would keep leaves and what not off of you if you slept in it.
The nylon seems solid and yet is a very light weight. It allows a breeze to blow through, so you don’t get stuffy in your hammock. It is easy to wash and does dry quickly, as stated in the description.
I find it to be a very comfortable set of dimensions and material. It eases the pain in my back and hips. If I could, I’d sleep in it every night.
The carabiners are good for basic use. They aren’t slip lock or high weight limit bits, so if you were going to put this higher in the trees or over a gorge or what not, I’d definitely replace those. The rope included is also reasonable quality as well as length.
Over all, this tent suits my needs, it would be a five star if it laid in a more open fashion, as pictured.

This shaker set is attractively packaged and easy to use as well as store.

It’s all made out of stainless steel, except the plastic cork bits on the pourers.

Three of the pieces, the top, the cap and the jigger, have some attractive metal etching that adds a feel of higher quality to this reasonably priced kit.

The only thing I noticed that could be off putting to some purchasers would be that the top is a very snug fit and needs wiggled to get it on solidly. I expect that this will ease with time and use, as the pieces become accustomed to each other. Even if they don’t, I’m not concerned, as it’s not as though we’ll be using it in a high stress or fast pace situation. We can easily take the moment to wiggle the top on.

The pieces are solidly made and I found no constructional flaws in them. The cap is well fitted and keeps liquid in as you shake. It does not SEAL, so know that it is strictly for while you’re mixing.

The e-book is easy to access and arrives quickly after you go to the page. The drinks are varied, so regardless of your liquor preference, there’s going to be something for you to try. The paper that arrives says that they send a surprise every month too, I’m not sure what this is, but I expect that it’s more drink recipes.

Brand name: Yak Therapy

Product page can be found HERE.
It’s listed for $33.39 atm.

This singing bowl is solidly made and easy to use. It readily gives up it’s song. I’d say this bowl is very good for beginners to learn on as it’s not particular about speed or angle.
It’s listed as sacral chakra in the description and it rings true at a D. Though I do see that it used to be listed as heart, hence the green cushion and bag. Since they changed the description and title to better list their product, I won’t hold that against them.

This bowl is well sized and fits nicely in each member or my family’s palm, even with variance in sizes. It has a nice weight and isn’t bothersome to hold for extended bits of time.
The cushion and bag are a nice addition for caring for your bowl. I will say that though they’re pretty, they’re not of particularly high quality but then I hadn’t expected them to be. The material is pretty standard weave quality and I wouldn’t expect it to holdup to much wear and tear. Which it shouldn’t have to, since they should primarily be on a shelf for when the bowl is not in use.

I like the design of the bow itself. It has mild hammering along the bottom half of the bowl, creating a nice visual texture. The top half is smooth with three etched lines around the circumference. The striker is a solid wooden piece with the top half covered in a soft material for grip and comfort.

Overall, I’m very pleased with this bowl and am glad to have it in my collection. It’s a lovely piece.
