Brand Name: SwissVita Laboratories
Product Page: https://amzn.com/B01CN98E8U
List Price atm: $23.99

This is my second product from SwissVita and I am even more pleased with this one. It’s somewhat more relevant to my lifestyle and needs. (Don’t get me wrong, their eye gel is great, I’m just more likely to remember to wash my face than I am to put on an extra skin treatment.)

I think the picture pretty much speaks for itself but I’ll do a full review anyway.

It comes in a simply designed box which gives you the name and contact info of the company, it gives you ingredients and direct instructions.

Inside you find your tube of face cream wash. Again, the directions are printed on the back. It’s sealed with a foil that has no pull tab, it took me a second to notice they had designed the cap with a small, pointed pyramid the indent on it’s top. So, another smartly designed packaging.

Once you open it, don’t put too much pressure on the tube. The product is very eager to come out. Place just a small bit in your palm and quickly put the cap back on, so that you don’t lose product. When I say a small bit, I mean a SMALL bit. The first time, I used a dime size and it was way too much. It washed down past my shoulders, thoroughly. So, I use about half a dime sized dot and lather it between my palms before applying it to a wet face. I say lather, but it’s not your traditional, foamy, bubbly lather. It’s more of a smooth buttery consistency. I typically do not like products that have such smooth consistencies, they’ve never worked well for my skin, I find they leave it feeling grimy and greasy. So, I was exceptionally surprised to discover that this wash actually made my skin feel phenomenal. It made me feel clean, and refreshed. It left my skin feeling a little more tight and with the texture of soft velvet.

The scent of the product is very subtle, in my opinion and does not have any remarkable notes. It’s white in color and the tube is solidly made. It will need rolled as you use it. I did not feel any adverse reaction on my skin and it did not bother my eyes to wash near them with it.

All around, I really like this face wash and found it to be very effective in only a few days.

I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Firstly, I’m TERRIBLE at beauty regimes. I constantly forget to apply them the recommended twice a day. So this is a review from a stressed, exhausted full time Mommy. I hope that makes it realistic and relevant to some of the other shoppers. Lol.

I thought the tube was incredibly well designed for shipping and shelf life. They included a small red ring between the nozzle and the neck, so that the foil seal did not accidentally become punctured by the easy open cap. I’ve included pictures of this. To open, you just unscrew the regular nozzle/cap, remove the red ring and screw the nozzle back onto the tube, firmly. This will cleanly puncture the foil without you having to try to peel it or puncture it without accidentally squeezing your product all over the place. I also like that the cap screws onto the nozzle instead of snapping. So I don’t have to worry about it coming off unexpectedly and would be able to travel confidently with it.

The product itself is clear and pretty scentless. I did not find it to irritate my skin or eyes. It also has a nice, smooth aloe like texture. It only take a tiny dot to do an eye and it spreads easily. I found that it absorbed and dried quickly. It did leave a small shine on my skin, but that dissipated quickly.

After the first use I felt that my skin had been well moisturized and it felt a little taught.

After three days I did not notice much visibly change, but again my skin felt a little more taught. (Keep in mind my opening, I miss applications, I’m sorry.)

After nine days I do feel that my under eye lines have dissipated ever so slightly. I have noticed some lightening in the coloring and again my under eye skin feels less puffy.

I’ll continue using this as it’s an easy product to use and is so comfortable.

I think these combs are lovely!

The sandalwood has a beautiful grain pattern that is clearly visible across. It’s been well sanded and cut from one solid piece of wood, not fabricated from separates. They also oiled the wood nicely, to prolong it’s life and scent. Please don’t think that means it’s oily, it’s just well treated.

The tines feel wonderfully solid and each side has subtly different width between the teeth, meaning that they’ll comb slightly differently, helping with different textures or needs. My husband has found the comb to be comfortable and effective in use. It combs course hair easily without causing static or feeling like you have to worry about it breaking. It straightens and smooths nicely.

The other comb is a beautiful companion to the sandalwood piece, though it is NOT sandalwood. It’s a lovely, warm toned wood with little to no scent. So if you want a gift for someone who is sensitive to sandalwood, this is a great alternative. It’s a comfortable size. Large enough to get a good grip on, but small enough to not be cumbersome or unmanageable. I found this comb to be effective in long, thicker hair with wave. There was no give in the tines or handle. It’s clearly made of one piece of wood. I can’t wait to see the reaction when he opens such a lovely, functional gift. I would suggest others to this product and shop.

The logo is clear and legible on both, so that there will be no forgetting who made this comb and where to direct others if they ask.

The both arrived in pretty little matte-brush printed boxes. Masculine yet classy. The boxes are just large enough to fit the dimensions of the combs, including width, so they’re very slim boxes. They would make a wonderful gift for any man with facial hair, regardless of age. The double sided comb is not especially large, so it would work well with travel. I might keep it in it’s box or store it securely, just to keep it nice. Would be a shame to scuff it up.The larger one could also travel, obviously, I mean, it’s a comb.

Overall, I think these are beautifully made combs and find them to be well priced.

I received these combs at a deep discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
