I received a mix pack of these caricature teas so I will be reviewing both flavors.

Firstly, aesthetics.

I think the illustrations and caricatures are exceptionally well done. They’re poking fun at BOTH candidates. I like that they don’t lean to one side or the other with their jokes. I also like that the illustration spans across both of the packages, so you need both flavors to finish the image. I would be interested in seeing more work from whoever drew this.

On the reverse, I like that their more “standard” tea bag look is still classy, regardless of being partner to the cartoon. It’s well laid out, legible and informative while still tying into the theme with the hashtags at the top. I’m all for a good pun and I think this brand is doing it well in a format I had not ever thought to expect.

Secondly, and more importantly (I guess), the tea.

As soon as you open the pouches the aromas lash out eagerly and deliciously.
I brewed both teas in the same temperature for the same amount of time.

The TeaRump is fragrant and bursting with peach aromas. It’s delectable and I would be happy to just keep this scent with me always. My husband is a regular drinker of peach teas, specifically, and he was quite impressed with it’s fruity presence. I would steep it a little less than I did. I found the flavor to be very sharp and would prefer it to be somewhat more subtle. My husband liked it this strong, but he likes his tea stronger. It was still good and I enjoyed drinking it, but I would like it a little lighter in future uses.

The ClinTeaN is more my style of tea. The vanilla smells so smooth and robust. It smells like a day of winter baking and warm blankets. The sweeteners are obvious in the scent, but it’s also obvious that they’re of natural origin. Once steeped, I found it to be just as delightful. It brews to a full, round flavor that is a joy to drink. It carries itself in the soft way that vanilla tends to, with not sudden jolts to the pallet. This is fantastic straight, but it would also pair nicely with milk/cream or even a chai base.

If I were to purchase more of one flavor, it would be the Vanilla Essence.

I look forward to future releases from this brand, The Teabook. I am curious about  future designs, puns and flavors. Too delicious not to follow.

I received these teas complimentary in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
